I placed a bid on ebay a harley dvidson softail fatboy on 01-17-06 item #4604612753. Next day I was offered second chance offer through ebay on my secured site for this bike. Contacted this person as second chance offer said to do.
This person got me off ebay and I bought the bike $9,200.00. He had pasted a bill of sell that looked authenic, that it came from ebay and I was protected through ebay. I wired the money to his account on 01-24-06 to James David Kirk - bank name Washington Mutual - bank address: 555 N. Main Street Lakeport CA 95453 United States of America Account # 1963275235 routing # 322271627.
I have a case # 06010107 with Lakeport CA. Police a Det. Norm Taylor phone (number deleted - see below). The person that scamed me his user ID was AYa04 and ebay has told me it is my problem. I have asked ebay several times how this person got on my secured account to offer me a second chance offer and scam me out of my hard earned money.
I would never of contacted this person if I was not contacted through my secured site and the scam would not of taken place. The Det. Norm Taylor told me there is another person that has a case and probaley more. I have all the emails from ebay and pasted bill of sale and second chance offer on record.
The bank has not helped out much as I understand from the Det. I thought ebay was a safe site. I have found out this is not the case, and this person has been doing this business for awhile.
