I viewed an ad in the newspaper, the employment section saying they were hiring leasing agents with no experince nessecary, gauranteed job placement, training provided. Called the agency on 1-23-06. They told me to come in to the office and I would have to pay $65 dollars to to take a 2 day class from 10am-1pm or a 1 day class class for for 6 hours. And after completeing the class that I would be placed on a job no longer than 2 weeks. Iwent into the office the 1st day 23 of january they told me i needed to pay $40 now and the rest on the 1st day of class. So I paid the money, and came back to location at scheduled time, which was on fondren at the time. The instructor, was not there so we had to get informatioin from the receptionist man who did not even pass the course hisself and had just started working there, so of course we received inaccurate information, for about 45 min, because we were all waiting for the instructor for at least an hour before she finally showed up with her 2 children and her lover/co worker. She comes in and is listening to the receptionist man trying to teach us and she take over from were he left off, So when she start teaching it is all different from what he said so now everyone is confused, Keep in mind The room we are in is very small we have to take notes all over again after getting the wrong notes for 45 minutes, 2 little children are running in and out the room distracting everyone including the instructor (these are her lovers children) her lover / coworker who is also suppose to be the owner of the company did not get there until 11:45 and rushes us thru some of the information.By this time it is around 1:30 and the class is suppose to be over at 1:00. Majority of us are saying that we have to be other places at a certain time to pick up children, to go to work, to go to school, etc.
And She tell us that its not going to go past 2;00 so some people left some made calls and others that had to leave just did not get the information that was needed to successful complete, the reason mostly being is because the exact same thing happened the following day of class and of course everyone failed the leasing prorated part of the test because it is so intense, detailed and mind concentration we did not have proffessional, accurate information and a quiet learning enviroment, and we all were so uncormfatable sitting in those hard chairs writing on our laps, because there were no desks. And barely enough space to sit all the people in the room in the fold chairs. So, everyone one failed as i stated, the instructor Ms. Johnson, who also states that shes is the owner of the company say that everyone failed and we all must pay $45 if we want to take it again. We can come sit in another class to try to learn it again. So many didnt come back felt like it was a scam and a very unproffesional place, that banks on failure. The reason being is because no one passed the class we were in and others that took course said no one passed in there classes either. So i give it the benefit of the doubt and go home and practice on my own and figure out how to work the problem, in about 2 days of practicing for about 2 hours in a quiet area i figured out how to do the problem on my own. Which was what she suppose to had taught us. I call the office and they are no longer there at that location someone is on the answering machine giving phone number to a place where they moved. I call the new number and no one answer so i leave a message on a day i dont exact remember but no one called me back, so i called on the 9 & 10 of february again, left a message no one called me back again. So by this time i am feeling very emotional because i really believed what they had told me it was all in writing in their ad. And it just seemed like they had gotten my money along with everyone elses and had written us off. So next i leave a message saying that i wanted to start class like i was a new student, of course someone called me right back, and i had told him i had been leaving messages and that i needed to retake the test.
He told me they have moved and they have new policies from not even a month ago. I explained to him that i had taken the test barely 3 wks ago and he puts ms johnson on the phone telling me i would have to take more tests and pay even more money.in addition to that i would have to pay upfront another whole other fee in case i fail that woul allow me to have to pay again and retake. I just decide to pay $45 to just retake. So i go in feb 15 to new location on fondren class start at 10:00, once again same as weeks ago ms johnson did not come until 11:00 with children alot of new different employees are there so i asked the receptionist man that taught us last time where was the other people and he said one quit and they let one go. Those 2 people had just started and had not passed the classes also. The one girl that quit said ms. Johnson kept saying she was going to pay her and when she did it wasnt what she had said, she say ms. Johnson was making up alot of reasons why she shorted her check. And i saw no one back to retake from the class i was in and the receptionist said no one called or rescheduled. And i know that was a lie because they didnt even return my calls, or even try to call the people back from which whom they recieved money from, I was the only one there to retake the test i was in a class with about 9 people and they were new ms. Johnson told me that i couldnt discuss any thing with them and that I would not be able to take the test on the board with the rest of the class since i was retaking ok that was fine, There were so many people in this class and all had to do all tests because she just wanted more money keep in mind the class is suppose to be 10am-1pm, we had to stay til 3. Because she said the same thing she said at the other building if you leave it on us but she comes late everyday and people have other things to do. Feb 16, she is late again she said she was going to read the test out to me after thay took theres and i had to take it that a way. I knew she was trying to make me fail so she would nt have to try to place me as she promised everyone (but knew she couldnt do, and didnt think i would come back), so afetr i sat in the class with everyone and waited to they take thier test the one i couldnt take with them, ms johnson and i sat at the table next to each other and she read it out to me and i had to work it out her friend/co-worker walked in and sat at the table with us while i was trying to concentrate on the test they are right there talking breaking my concentration so that i could not think, and when i told her i couldnt concentrate because of thier talking she said the other people had interruptions to and she was basically not going to let me take the test in peace and quiet, so therefore i was not able to take the test, because she told me i had 4 minutes to finish and there was no way i could finish in 4 minutes when you only get 8 to start with and i had to start all the way over. I tried to talk to her but she was being very sarcastic, unfair and manipulative. I looked up company at B.B.B. There was no business under them but they did say that they have had many inquiries about the company., i looked them up in business and yellow pages there was nothing. So therfore she went and made up some phoney test and screwed me for the 2nd time and everyone in that class failed also.
