Bought item on december 10th and shipping has been delayed 6 times Astoria New York

I purchased a set of gloves from this company on December 10. It was due to shipped on December 23 do to the holidays. I figured, ok I can wait. Then I checked on December 28th. The product status was backordered until January 3rd. I said to myself, ok, it is not their fault I will wait.

Then as January 6th approached and no item was shipped, I again checked my status. This time it was due to ship on January 12th. So, I emailed customer service to find out the problem. They explained that this product had been backordered and would be shipped as soon as it was recieved.

So, again I waited one week and checked my status. This time it was not due to ship until January 23rd. I got angry and wrote the company to demand a refund, they wrote back to say this was impossibleas said item was already shipped. I waited and I checked the mail every day. January 29th the product still didn't ship. I again checked my status and mow it is backordered until Febuary 3rd.

The funny thing is I ordered the same exact product through another company January 25 and got them January 29th. So if it is backordered through the manufacterer then how come I could get it so quick through sopme where else. And by the way copsplus is still refusing to refund my money, even though I did not recieve anything.
