I cannot believe how these companies try too break the laws. I also had a "credit offer" from resurgent. They did exactly like the other complaintants said. Basically it looks like they are stabbing in the wind to try to get consumers to reestablish debts which don't belong to them or time reinstate timebarred debts.
It's scary how much as consumers we dont know. I've battled this debt with two other collection companies because this isn't my debt and now here we go again. I'm so sick of these companies. I heard that they wiil go all out to get you to pay them.
