While you may save some money on rent, especially moving in during the summer months. It is likely that they will charge you about the same $ you save to move out. And they are sneaky about it.
I moved out in the beginning of August and I was present for my walk-through, which went fine. I signed the move out form, which had "NO CHARGE" written on it by a Mirage representative at that time.
About a month or so later, I received a bill for $441 for carpet replacement and additional utilities. Besides the fact that I was notified beyond the designated time to notify a previous tenant of charges due, they altered the form I signed with white out so that it looked like I signed for the $441 charge. Needless to say, after five months of discussions with Mirage staff, the Better Business Bureau, and a collections agency, the matter is still unresolved.
I highly recommend avoiding this complex; they are looking to make a quick buck in anyway they can and act like jerks in the meantime!
