Customer inquiry to Union Bank of Calif.

Hello: I was approached telephonically (12/13/05 8p. Eve approx.) by American Advantage (or so similarly named) grant agency. They offered me a $5000.00 government grant (to be deposited in this account # XXXXXXXX by 12/21/05) and subscription to their organization in exchange for my o.K. For them to deduct $49.95 (one time) and $19.95 per month (henceforth) monthly.

I am skeptical of this transaction and request you monitor it throughout the process due to the possibility it may be a scam. I am authorizing you in writing to make those deductions, not to exceed $200.00 in this month.

Due to my skepticism, I gave them info to an account (UBOC) I keep primarily for online situations as this.
