The following are just recent e-mail's I have received in an attempt to resolve this almost 1 year old claim. After telling them in no uncertain terms that I wanted everything in writing, I recieved a PHONE CALL! So much for listening huh?
Anyway, I have a ton of other e-mail as well as recorded phone conversations to document this "rip-off". I will forward to anybody that needs them.
The phone call I recieved ended with "I need to send this to the fraud dept, they need to contact paypal, then we will decide how/if we can refund". OH PLEASE! If their offer to me were real after I responded to another consumer complaints (see below) of resolving the issue, and I did verify the account, and they admitted the account has never been used, then why can't they just refund via check? I have gotten married since this all happened and have moved. AND I will BET I do not recieve my money in full (again, see below).
As stated, our paypal account has been closed since Feb when this happened. I have no access to these records at this time. But then, I am sure you were counting on that (saves a check and stamp for you) as I said this in my first letter to you. Thanks for the apology... No thanks for the lack of help (this is expected).

Dear Laurie,
Thank you for contacting the office of the president.
We would like to offer an apology for any trouble this has caused for you. It is not our intention to keep a customer's money if they are not satisfied with our products. We will be able to refund your account
for the all of the products that were purchased, except the domain name. For security purposes, we will need you to verify the last 4 digits of the paypal agreement that was on your account when you made the purchase. As soon as we receive this information, we will credit your account. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
If we can help you in any other way, let us know.
Kindest regards,
Michelle Barnes

Dear Sir:
You left a message for more info from me at consumer complaints. My account number with you is 4807243. My 15 year old son opened the account on 2-23 and 24 of
2005. $369.36 is the total amount removed from my husbands paypal account. All of our paypal accounts have been closed by us due to this problem with your company. We did not know what he had set up so we did not
know if we were in danger of having more money removed from our bank account. Due to the problems from the past
with your customer service and your refusal to even refund a partial refund, I must request that all requests
from you be in the form of writing either by e-mail or by snail mail. My address is on my (?) unused account within your company.
I repeat, no phone contact!
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Laurie
I have some e-mail for your report
I have ton's of e-mail's from them as well as recordings of telephone conservations. My 15 year old son thought
he was doing "mom" a favor and signed me up using my husbands paypal account. I know part of this was my
fault for allowing him access to my info and that is why I did not take it any further than phone calls. An honest company would have offered to refund after I called and explained they had dealt with a MINOR, but not
godaddy.
They pretty much told me to go blow. I am just getting
started in my own business and was not ready to go online. I explained to them I would be happy to use their company when I was ready but my son jumped the gun. I heard everything from "accounting has to make the call on the refund" to plain out rudeness..."go to H*L" Nice customer service. I got taken for hundreds of dollars and would recommend to everyone out there NOT
to support a company that steals from children!
