A sales rep from QC Unlimited actually visited our offices in September to solicit advertizing for Germantown emergency refrigerator magnets to go out on all Papa John's pizza boxed in the spring 2005. Sounded like a great idea for this small village of 14,000 so I paid 299.50 with my visa card.
Spring came and went, no magnets were delivered. Called them - the rep on the phone stated they were having difficulties getting them out in spring but that they would be coming out in the Fall.
Fall 2005 came and went and no magnets were delivered. Attempted to call them today 11/21 and my heart sank when I got the tell-tale sounds from the phone company and a recording that the number was no longer in business.
A hard lesson was learned today, but I also learned about usacomplaints.com and the number for the attorney general. If anyone has had any success in getting a refund - please respond!
