Ripoff, muniputaled into buying, lied about free gift, called back with different name and said other representatives did it wrong, asked for my personal information again, would not let me speak

On October 3, I recieved a phone call from CRC. They asked if I had recieved my free gift. I said no. I had previously cancelled my magazines and had gone through an act of congress to get that done. I was sure it was taken care of until October 3rd. This person I spoke to explained that my account had not been updated and began reading off what I was getting and so and so on. I could not get a word in edgewise to tell her I was not interested.

When I did ask her why she called, she said my account needed to be updated and that the other reps had not completed it properly. Before I knew it and I admit I fell for it, I was obligated to pay another 49.95 on the 1st of November. After going through about 3 different people on the phone to confirm everything I was ready to get off the phone. When I did, I realized that I had bought another load of magazines I really don't want. But, I had no phone number to call back, only a website that I cannot get into because the address was apparently false.

Today, October 4, I recieve another phone call, supposedly from the same people at CRC. This lady percieves to tell me that the reps did something wrong and not stating what they did. I listen and as I do, I am getting susicious. She then tells me to re-verify my social and VISA number.

I said to her, "what company is this?" Her reply was something said so fast I could not hear what it was. I asked her again and no reply, so I said are you with CRC? She said no, but our company has other names. I then said you should call back later. My reason for saying that, is because I know they will.

Meanwhile, I am putting a stop payment on the magazines with my bank and if they complain about the magazines they send not being paid for, I will box them up and send them, that is, if they give me a return address.

I am real tight with my money and I don't like giving my info over the phone, but I messed up and did it not realizing what kind of company this was. I feel Ripped off! The way they handle their business is terrible. I don't want any magazines and I want them to stop calling me.

If anyone has the phone number on this company, please email me. I want to make sure they know what cancel means.
