I signed up with CBT Direct because I was told by their sales rep. That I was guaranteed to pass my MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certification or my money back ($2500). Well, I passed the first of my exams with great difficulty. Now they are saying that in order for the guarantee to work, I needed to fail my first exam twice and that I am not covered for my MCSE.
When I signed up for this training program, I was under the impression that I was covered throughout the MCSE courses for up to 120 days.
They lied to me directly over the phone and mislead me to sign up for this course. Having researched this company further, I noticed many diffent problems that customers of theirs had over the years when they were named Smart Certify. I am not the only one.
They use GE Care Credit to get your tuition fee within hours and leave you to deal with GE directly. They had told me in so many words, tough break. Not our problem now.
CAREFUL with what you sign up on. Even if a rep. Tells you, "It's ok, trust me. You are covered." Double check what you sign up for.
I am not going to let this go until justice is served and I get my money back. I filed with BBB, Consumer Affairs, and the Attorney General so far and am speaking with others as well.
