After some time on the computor, I watched TV and saw the John Beck Free & Clear program. I got on the computor and ordered it.
I was called, and convinced that I had been chosen to be on John Beck's Success Team. I was told I had three days to cancel if I changed my mind.
A different person came on the line who said we were being recorded (I couldn't hear her very well) I assumed she was repeating what was said earlier. I gave my credit card number and they ripped me off for $14,995.
The next day I called my credit card company to cancel the charge. I was told to cancel it with the merchant and if that didn't work, call back.
I called John Beck's representative to cancel. I was told they don't return money so I might as well make the best of the program and the encouragement promotion continued.
I called the credit card company again and was told they couldn't do anything until that charge posted. So I watched my account on the computor and when it posted, I filled out their Dispute form.
I received a letter today from the credit card company. It basically says "sorry".
In the meantime, I have not accepted delivery of a box sent FedX, and returned a package unopened received in the mail.
I returned their Enrollment Confirmation unsigned with a note 7/18/05, No, Please Return the Money, I did not accept shipment.
I have not accepted any mentoring sessions on the phone.
I have not seen or signed any contract.
So, now what do I do to get my money back?
