Wow! Am I sure glad I found this web site! I myself, like many of you, have contacted Davison to help patent and develop my product.
I have the "Pre-Inventigration Agreement" sitting right here in front of me. The Dircector of New products just called me today. I wasnt at all satisfied with the phone call.
First of all, my questions werent answered directly, I asked if there would be any additional costs besides the 685.00. He said if the company wanted a full product demonstration that was totlally packaged, it may cost a bit more. He assured me that my product should not be too costly, and that Davison would try and help with any fiancial costs. BULL!
Second of all, he didnt go through any of the agreement with me! He just wanted to make sure we were on "the same page", with my invention and kept giving me details on how I could make payments.
I am going to call the USTPO IMMEDIATELY and submit my Disclosure Document Form, its only 10 bucks!
Thank you all for reporting your cases, I really hope you get Davison in the end!!! Because of you, you have stopped one, perhaps many people from making the same mistakes!
