David White posed as an attorney working court case #29-85050677 which would compensate victims of sweepstakes scandels with a settlement of $250,000.00. The notice included a (fradulent) check for $2,969.09 to assist in covering any financial obligations associated in the releasing of settlement fees from the court and not for any other purposes.
I was instructed to contact Mr. White upon receiving this letter. I complied with this instruction and was told to deposite the check. The following day I was contacted and instructed to use Western Union to send two separate monies to Harvey Tisdale in Windsor, Ontario Canada and to Eve Aussant in Westmount Quebec, Canada to help with their court costs.
The letter indicated the courts allowed a maximum of 5 business days to have this settled and delivered. The letter threatened failure to reply or to respond may result in termination of settlements or cancellation of enclosed check.
And finally, Legal fees will apply for non-compliance.
