Back in April of this year I received a card in the mail that said you will get a Spring Promotin to attend University of Phoenix Online so I called 1-800-366-9699 and I spoke to a representative and he said that they would pay for my books and my first class would be waived. I even was told to take out a student loan and so I did. This was a scam from the beginning. I would log in to class and I would not be in class for a long period of time and I would be charged hundreds of dollars. I called the next few days and said that I donot want to continue the class and the representative told me that I had to pay 4,000.00 which included $110.00 for the cost of the books which was suppose to be waived, this was a scam. So the other day which was 7-15-05 I got an e-mail from finicial aid advisor saying that I have to pay them $416.39 or they will take legal action on me.
