We had attended BCTI in 1998 and had found jobs with very little assistance from any of thier so called career guidence counselers, by the way now what about thier so called lifetime job placement assistance, It was my understanding that they would be there with available facilities for life, that is a pretty definate period of time for a business that is now no more.
My wife had aquired employment after graduation at a local corp. And they were not impressed with the so called data entry capabilites of any of the hires, I remember having to sign off on my final classes before they were completed, with the assurance that these additional areas would be covered, and as you can guess they were not, they pushed people thru like cattle not caring who was recruited.
There is a certain expectation that employers have regarding appearance in a professional enviroment, like most of the jobs these people had applied for, and I am sorry but the truth is half of these people I believe were given false hopes in order to get them to apply. That is just moraly wrong.
These promises of job security and placement are an abvious lie fabricated to entice anyone with high hopes and a limited education. I only hope that more people report this, and a class action suit is filed and the responsible parties are prosecuted.
