October I responded to an e mail by Tigerdirect for a Famous Brand (Sceptre) 19" LCD monitor. It was a great price after the $100 rebate ($40 from OnRebate, which I received and $60 rebate from Sceptre, the mfr. Of the monitor and TigerDirect's agent. I sent in all required items to Sceptre to claim the rebate October 28. It's now over 3 months and I have not received the $60.
I had to do a search to find out the name of Sceptre since the rebate form had no e mail address or phone number. Tigerdirect disclaims responsibility even though their name is all over the rebate form. I've e mailed Sceptre and received no response. I've written letters to both companies informing them I will write to the Attorney Generals Offices in both states and report them for fraud if I do not receive the $60 by February 28.
I'm used to begging for my rebates and usually receive them after hounding the companies and threatening to report them. I'm really upset with Tigerdirect as I've been a steady customer of theirs for many years, buying 5 PC's and accessories.
