This company, which has a great-looing website, posts ads for tutors all over CA. Creating the impression that work will be available soon, they request a canceled check (for automatic deposit of salary), Social Security Number, Driver's license ID (because you have to drive to the job), and auto reg. Then there's no job. The company e-mails monthly, saying that if you're not interested your information will be removed from their site. Five months after I expected work, I checked their site and saw that my name and profile had even been posted in the tutor referral section. I called other names on the list and discovered undeliverable e-mails, wrong phone numbers, and people who said the had registered more than a decade ago and received only a single student or none at all. (Their "salary" is based on how many students you have.) One woman said she had closed her bank account because of a series of unauthorized deductions.
