I received a phone call from Bill Griffin, a representative of Resort Solution Trust. He told me he had a pre-approved buyer for my timeshare in Sedona, Arizona and would I be willing to sell it for $22,900.00. I agreed to sell the timeshare for this amount. Bill then told me that he would be forwarding an Agreement for me to sign. When I received the Agreement I discovered that it was an agreement to advertise for the sale of my timeshare. I called Bill to question him about the Agreement. Mr. Griffin told me this was the only way RST could recoup their costs and pay for the lawyers needed to complete the sale.

After I paid RST their fee of $1,280.00 the sale of the timeshare to the pre-approved buyer did not happen. I was told on numerous occasions that RST was waiting on paperwork from the title company or that the lawyers have the paperwork and are waiting on the buyer to sign it. I was then told that the buyers backed out but that they had another buyer. This continued for over a year.

In May of this year I sent a letter to Bill Griffin requesting a refund of the $1,280.00 that I had paid. I also requested a complete copy of my file, including the name, address, phone number and any other information on the three buyers RST claimed to have for my timeshare.

I also requested the name of the lawyer and title company that worked on the initial purchase of my timeshare. I did not receive any of this information.

Mr. Griffin did call me and said that if I was willing to reduce the price of the timeshare they had a buyer.

I agreed to the lower amount but it has now been many months and still no sale.

I believe this company is a fraud and they get people to agree to sign their agreement under false pretenses. I was told there was a buyer when I was contacted but RST has provided no proof of this and therefore, I believe their agreement is null and void. I would like to see this company shut down and my money returned.
