On October 3 I ordered the new DR leaf and lawn vac, on sale and with an extended warranty. On Oct. 4th they called to confirm the order and interview me on my intended use of the product and to find out what kind of mower I had. I told them I intended to use the product as a yard vac and intended to use it behind a utility vehicle. Well they said they could not sell me one if thats what I intended to use it for, because they had to warranty the product, and they required you to pull it with a lawn tractor. The product had not been tested in any other application. If the product wont work behind a utility vehicel or an atv, it must really be a crappy product. Besides that how I use the product after I buy it is my business. The last time I checked I still lived in America. You cannot offer consumer products for sale and dictate how the consumer will use the product, If I want it to be a big paperweight thats my business. I argued with customer service to no avail, they just would not sell it to me.
I filed a complaint with the BBB after they cancelled my order and then they deleted my account and are pretending it never happened. Well luckily I have the order number and order confirmaion in my inbox for proof.
