Hello Readers,

I am here to warn all agents or individuals that want to sell property to Melissa Veale so they can avoid her scams or retaliation or slander that she is attempting on me.

She has abused this website along with Ebay's Website and the negative feedback system on Ebay, so I will forever will be warning people about this women who is committing these terrible acts of Slander and Libel and 'might' be trying to stay for free (I don't really know that yet for sure, so I use the word 'might', but she's already late on her first payment, and I doubt that I will see another nickle from her. She is currently at my house on 306 S. Kennedy. And she will not communicate what-so-ever to try to work out something.

Below is the transcription from Melissa Veale attempting to 'manipulate' this website 'complaint' that she filed on me, potentially committing libel and slander, both punishable and under criminal penalties.

(She states:)
We bought a house on eBay from Al Echeagaray. He claimed the house was move in ready and that theplumbing was updated throughout and that there were 3 bathrooms. We paid the downpayment and closing costs and drove 1000 miles to get to the house.
(Correct so far)

(She states:)
When we hadthe water turned on, the pipes were leaking everywhere. (Lie) -... The water leaks were minimal... How can a plumbertravel from out of town, charge only 3 hours labor parts and only have a billof only $425) - Yes, there are the other 2 bathrooms to deal with (more on thatlater)

(She states:)
We replacedthe value on the hot water heater but water was running under the house. Wecalled Al Echeagaray and informed him. He called a plumber but said he didn'thave the money to pay for the plumbing. (VERY BIG LIE) They werethrilled that the water heater was unscathed and was fine. To this day, they have only paid $50 for thetrap (regarding the plumbing) and Ive got the entire bill for the plumbing.

I was there at theirproperty (plumber is a witness), and offered to go to my bank and pay them $100which we agreed (does that seem like a con artist would do that). They elected to just have me deduct theamount from their mortgage payment... Points for her as well. This alsotells me that they were happy with the house. This of course was after the plumbers fixed all the problems except thesecond bathroom (the 3rd bathroom I only claimed 2.5 bathrooms... Ithought the tub was working... I was wrong. What can I do? Except to makethings right after that.

(She states:)
The plumber cameand attempted fixed the pipes to one bathroom and the kitchen. The bill wasover $400. The plumber said it could be up to $5,000 to fix the rest of theplumbing not including the third bathroom. We then had several more leaks theplumber missed and had to call a handyman costing us $50 more and we repairedsome plumbing problems ourselves.

(Lie mixed with truths) therewas no attempt, the plumber fixed the pipes to the bathroom and kitchen. Yesthe bill was about $425 (short a few pennies). Yes they did say the bill could be $5,000 but they also said it could beas low as $600 (I think that was the figure - near that) I told them on Melissasvoice mail that I would cover it, but again, she hasnt, to this day, evervoiced their concerns with me. She has nevercomplained. I found out only by anegative feedback on ebay... Since I ama man of my word and try to help or solve any issues or concerns for anybody, Iwas very distraught to see this.

(She states:)
We then found out from people in town that we are not the first people Al Echeagary has sold thishouse to by lying about the condiion and others have come here just to leaveagain including one person that we were told sued him and won the suit.

(VERY BIG LIE) I havealways been honest about any description in any ad that I place. There has never been a lawsuit, nor complaintsother than Melissa, and another buyer from the past that just changed theirmind with a Handyman Special ad that I had.

I was clear about the problems of the house. After there was no sewer line what-so-ever, in spite of a clause As-Is I voluntarily refunded $2,000 plus Interest within3 weeks to an elderly couple who thanked me for my honesty. The house is a nice house that was left notwinterized by a previous owner that became ill and left the state. I tried my best to make good with my longtrip for Melissa, who never asked for her money back when I was there. I was under the impression that she was happywith the house except the plumbing.

(She states:)
He continues tosell this house and others on the internet getting down payments from peopleand just reselling it when they leave and getting another down payment fromsomeone else.

(Lie and Truth) The Indianahouse has is so happy with me and loves the house The Ohio house they werehappy, but didnt pay their taxes and I had to legally evict. So Im lookingfor another owner and I dont think Im going to let them walk in with the keyswithout paying something. Actually, Imonly asking $475 in the door.

(She states:)
We also paidclosing cost and there has never been a closing. We went to his attorney'soffice that is supposed to be handling closing and were told he was too busy tosee us and he would call us to set up an appointment. It has been two weeks andwe still haven't received a call. It has been almost two months since we paidthe down payment and closing costs.

(Truth... With Omissions) Melissa has failed to disclose that she hasnteven moved there for the several weeks, causing the closing date to expire.

(She states:)
We checked RIP OFF before we bought and there was no report so we wanted to file a reportso anyone checking will know not to buy from this man. We just want our moneyand expenses back from Al Echeagary and to leave this nightmare behind us.

(True) except, I wonderif they have a nightmare. Theyve nevercomplained to me, nor the title company! I really wonder what motives are, which leaves me to think that she is a Con ArtistShe is already late on her first payment, and I think she bounces from house to house, finding whatever fault, then finding excuses to stay on their property till they legally get kicked out. But I'm not the judge... However, since she's never complained to me and her behavior is not really making any sense... She's leaving me no choice but to try to read her mind.

In spite of her trying tosmear my name, I wish her well and hope she finds happiness some day... However, I will not beruling out the possibility of criminal charges for libel and slander unless shestarts telling the truth and telling it like it is and retracting everything here and on Ebay. Whoever was able to readthis in its entirety, thank you for hearing my side. I promise that I have done my best to be as honest and as transparent as possible.
