This man is the definition of a slumlord. Gerald Potts is the owner of a property at Se pinecrest Dr. He does not want to fix anything and when you call about things needing to be fixed he will lie and say it is in the lease that the tenant fixes problem. Big lie, my bathroom toilet and sink backed up I called Gerald not only did he refuse to fix but he claimed it was in my lease that tenant fixes plumbing wrong again.
My bathroom was out of working order for two weeks. My son and I had to get in the car and drive to my sisters house to use the bathroom, which is trouble. I had to call City of Topeka Code Compliance on this guy because he refused to fix anything. He was fined by the City. Gerald Potts is a slumlord no doubt.
He owns several properties in Topeka so beware of him if you see a for rent that has cell phone number 633-2251 avoid that house that is his number.
