A technician from Collins Comfort Masters came to our home to repair the A/C system. He said he had done so, charged us $150 & left. While at our home, he charged up the freon. Two days later, we were melting yet again. We called Collins Comfort Masters & were told a technician would be sent out.
This time we got 2 technicians. Well, that didn't help much either. They were at our home for 3 hours. The said they had to solder one of the lines coming for the manifold. Next thing they tell us, we aren't getting charged for the visit & "they want to wash their hands of it"!!! Can you believe that?!
They advised that our system would have constant leaks & need service / replacement. Well, apparently they did not accel in welding class. The line they were to weld was in fact capped off, diminishing the capacity of our unit by 16%. They never even informed us that they had sabotaged / damaged our A/C unit.
The owner, Collins Owens did refund the $150 that we paid on the first visit. He refused to respond to my letter requesting an explanation for shoddy work & poor customer service skills. He further failed to respond in any way to the workmanship of his employees. See ya in court, Collins. I was taught growing up that if "ya break it, ya fix it". A good job is a job done right the first time. Seems like Collins Comfort Masters could do with some welding classes or some honesty! Come on!
