The man Gary that owns Gary's lawn service is horrible, He will not call you back if you have a problem with the service you recieved. He sent a guy out to do a bid on a mans property, the material cost more then the bid the man gave. They had already removed the mulch from the property, when gary found out the material cost more then the bid, he refused to finish the job. But he (gary) kept the mulch they had removed and put it on his own property. The owner of the property went to gary's house (also place of business) gary sent an employee to the door to tell the property owner that he was not their that he (gary) was in denver. Gary would not remburse the man for the unfinished work. He tells everyone to make checks out to him personally instead of in the business name because he does not pay taxes on his business. He put a female employee in the hospital by beating her because she would not be unethical to someone on the phone then claimed she hit him first and was defending himself. However several people saw what happen but were to affraid to say anything so he was not charged. He fired a man for not taking flyers from a door for another business then would not pay him the wages that was already earned. He forces his employees to jump out of the back of trucks at stop lights to take other lawn business signs from the sides of roads. If the employees do not do it he will fire them cuss at them and will not pay them their wages that they earned. He does not hire women to work in the field because he says they have to stop to pee and with men they can just pee on the side of a house. A customer called because a sprinkler head was broken during services being done. When they called Gary to have someone come and fix the problem he became irrate and called the customer a "bitch" he called an employee of his to call the customer and straighten it out. He fired an employee because he could not come to work due to a problem with his child. He had a female employee living with him to do his house cleaning and paper work for his business, when he became angry with her he exposed his parts to her and told her that if she told anyone that he could kill her. She could not do alot except stay and listen to his mental and deal with his physical abuse. She had no place to go and no money because gary would not pay her until the end of the season. She was litterally stuck in the situation for three months. As soon as gary paid her she moved to denver and has not been heard from since. These are just a few things this man has done not only to his customers but also to his employees. The list goes on and on. Do yourself a favor and go with another lawn service company.
