Larry Hogue
Ripoff lieing and misleading are his best qualities!

We are a low income family of four that wanted our american dream to come true. We visited Georgia in February to try and purchase a home. We drove around for several days trying to find the best looking house that would fit our budget, finally a house that caught our eyes. We called the number on the sign and got in contact with a Mr. Larry Hogue. He agreed to show us the house and the wheels were in motion.

We spoke for a while and he asured us that he would get my wife, Rhonda approved for a loan with a bank of his choice. Before going to Georgia we had spoke to a few lenders and we had all the most important paperwork that we would need to show a lender. The day we spoke to Mr. Larry Hogue we handed him all the paperwork that he requested. After Mr Larry Hogue got all he needed we told him that we wanted to move here only if we were going to own our house, we made it very clear that we were not in a rush to move. We came from Connecticut and there we were renting and we did not want to move to rent again.

Three days later we left back to Connecticut. Mr. Larry Hogue called us a week later letting us know that he had submitted the paperwork and that we would soon find out about the loan. Two weeks later he called us and told us that the loan was approved. We jumped up and down with excitement and started making plans to move to Georgia from Connecticut, what a feeling! That same week he called us and said that we needed to send him more paperwork, rent reciepts, recent bank statements, letters from my wife's job, etc. Anyway we did all that and the bank was satisfied.

The house was listed at $ 134.9, we gave him $1000.00 as good faith money. Now because we did not have more of a down payment the house was now $140,000.00. Anyway, everyweek we spoke to Mr. Larry Hogue and he assured us that everything was going smooth. A week before we moved to Georgia Mr. Larry Hogue called us and stated that the loan was good and that our fist mortgage payment was going to be on May first of 2004.

We moved in the last week of March and it cost us with truck rental, tolls, gas (truck and vechicle), one night at a motel with our two children, food, etc. Every penny that we had saved. We did not care because we were the proud owners of a house and our kids would have a good place to grow up and be happy, that is all we cared about.

We arrived in Georgia a day and a half later, got the keys from Mr. Larry Hogue and finally had the best sleep in our lives. The next day Mr. Larry Hogue came over and asked us for $900.00. He said that the loan was not approved and that we would have to rent the house for at least six months before the loan would be approved. We did not have any money because he said that our mortgage payments would start May first, that is when we figured out that he was not being straight with us. We had no choice but to take a lease/purchase for six months, which expires October first.in the conversation he also stated that the $1000.00 that we gave would be used towards April's rent. If we decide not to purchase the house or the loan is not approved at the end of the lease we would get $100.00 back and the $900.00 would be used towards April's rent. We agreed to those terms since we had no money and no choice.

I started working that week but it took my wife about five weeks to find work. The bills were killing me and they are not getting any easier for us since we are paying for someone else mortgage. Now its July and we have decided not to buy and to move. Now, the owners are willing to let us off the lease but we now owe them $900.00 for April's rent and no return of our $1000.00. According to Mr, Larry Hogue my wife was approved in June for 95% of the loan, which is the first time that my wife and I have heard about this suppose loan. Mr. Larry Hogue has paperwork proving this loan but we never heard about it and do not even know what bank has supposely approved my wife.

Now if Mr. Larry Hogue is not a lieing and misleading person than I must be millionaire! If there is anyone out there that can help us with this problem or has gone through this same situation please write back. We do not know what to do and I really work hard to save $1000.00. I do not think that someone like Mr. Larry Hogue should just be able to walk away with someone's money just like that. Also Mr. Larry Hogue is a sales associate for America's Realty, Inc., 440 Barrett Pkwy, Suite 19, Kennesaw, Georgia, 30144.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read about this lieing and misleading person, please beware!!!
