Non-Disclosure

We leased a home for 1yr and paid the deposit. After the deposit was made and the lease was electronically signed by my husband and myself the owners disclose that the gas stove doesn't work properly and that they weren't going to fix it, there are ants coming in through the receptacles of the home, they want to use the home to store some furniture they don't want to get rid off and also they decided they didn't want to make any repairs to the refrigerator. We said no we weren't in agreement to this.

None of our furniture has been moved in at this point. Our realtor told us that we are not bound to the lease because of non-disclosure and the fact that they want to amend the contract. We told the owners that we didn't agree and they said they weren't going to fix/repair anything. So, with the advice of our realtor we said we didn't want to move in. The owners realtor said that he wasn't aware of the stove not working properly and it should be fixed. He and our realtor agreed that the lease was over and stated that the owners were going to sell the home.

Within a few short hours we receive a call from our realtor stating the owners are not happy and now want $500 because they installed new carpet upstairs which is a cheaper grade of carpet and they can't sell the home with carpet like this. We haven't seen the carpet. And they said they had to give away furniture to meet our deadline to move in. Nothing was ever said to us regarding them not meeting our move in date. Now things have changed again in that they want to keep our entire $2300 deposit after we were told we could pick up the check. What are our legal rights?
