When buying your new home stay away from this people!!!
My family landed at Mill Creek Station in Dacula GA, we found a nice floorplan and decided on a vacant lot they had. The agent on site Rick Baker was not very helpfull he sent us out with a pen and pad to look at the existing homes so we can decide on the colors of the home and different upgrades. After handing over $10k for earnest money, nothing was done 2 weeks later they started working on the house, they had the colors wrong, once they were told to change the front colors they acted like they were doing us a favor, base on the elevation we had agreed on the porch showed to be made of concrete and one week before closing they built it out of wood and it wasnt even painted, at this point we were getting a different product that we never had agreed on, and they insisted that nothing was wrong and averything was ok. The agent Rick Baker just kept saying that our home was the nicest in the whole neighborhood. Thats bull crap, he probably told averyone that. Needless to say my wife was pregnant about to give labor during the process and our lease was ending on our current home so of course they figured we would just suck it up and take the home as is. This was a total nightmare, the agent knew of the problems and concerns but never addressed them directly with his builder, so these geniouses think that my family backed of the deal just because... And of course they said that they dont do refunds??? The agent just lied to us threw the whole building process and never mentioned that by the way you porch is gonna be built out of wood the sides of the house were not gonna be finished no siding no brick... REALLY!!! If we knew this we would have never gave them any money... Buyer be carefull dealing with these individuals.
