On November 29th, the movers showed up 6 hours late, and were rude when they did show up.
They loaded half the truck, then refused to work, but also refused to pause their billing, and said they wanted to change the rate from hourly to fixed rate (ie. They wanted to more than double the amount they originally estimated). When I consistently refused, they eventually continued.
The truck they brought was too small to fit my one-bedroom of stuff, even though they said it was the size for a whole
house, and so I had to leave a lot of it and make two trips in a U-Haul with other movers the next day.
They told me I had to sign the inventory sheet that night, before they delivered my stuff. They charged the rate for three men when they only had two movers.
The next day they were 80 minutes late, then refused to bill to my credit card as previously agreed to.
