On Oct. 17, I hired Mr. Stepherson for the remolding of my bathroom. I received a written contact worded: I —gave David Stepherson a sum of $500.00 towards the remodeling of my bathroom on 10/17. Second payment of $500.00 (for buying the bathroom fixtures) was given on 10/20 which made the total $1000.00.
He came to my house as if he was going to really work and get finish. Now, that was 10/17 and as of 10/26 the work is incompleted.
He tore my bathroom up, shut off the water, pulled fixtures from the walls and floor and didnot finish anything.
I tried to call him several times to ask what was going on, (see my family and I, didn't have access to our bathroom for it was not completed).
After I finally contacted him, he got upset and stated that he would refund my payment on 10/23. Now, today 10/26, he still haven't return my money nor finish the assignment.
I read where others have had problems with him before on the RIPOFF website. Please tell me, can anything be done about this company or am I FRIED.
