I purchased 5 pcs. Of furniture from Levitz in June each with the 7 Yr Stain and Structure Warranty. Paying a extra $31.70 on each piece I purchased. I called to have a table repaired, and had to come-up with the original sales receipt before, they would even talk to me, I had my copy of the warranty right in front of me, no where did it say you needed a original sales receipt! Anyway I found it and called them back, and was told I had to fax all these papers to their process dept.
And Was told in the next 2 Weeks someone would call me back.
After giving them my home & cell phone numbers. I was also giving a claim number, this all took place on Feb 17. I still have not hear a thing from anyone. Now the real problem is that you have only 7 days that you can wait before reporting the problem! Now it's to late, because the problem is now to old, and that makes it not covered by the warranty...
