On Saturday at 6pm our air conditioner stopped working. We placed and emergency call to the HVAC company that annually services our unit. We were told it would be $150 just to come out. 8:15pm a tech showed up, and it was a blown capacitor, which happened july 4 about 5 years ago. It took about 15 min to replace and the part itself was $264.00. Being this happened before I called the company that came out then and was told the price for that part was high. I remembered it to be about $65-75, I placed another call to another company to hear the same. I check internet to see the price and according to the WEb 40-60 (with markup) is fair. I called 3 times to the business with no reply. I contacted the BBB and they dont handle price disputes. I received a letter in the mail, today, thursday saying that their prices are fair and I owe the money. Help
