This individual by the name of Vinicius Santos or nickname by "Vinie" is also the owner of the company so called Vigo Remodeling Inc, came to our property to estimate a job of installing four poles, three in the back porch and one in the front of the house and also lift the patio roof.
The total of the whole job was $1.400.00. We gave him $700.00 in check in order for him to order the poles at the store and the other $700.00 was due after completion of work. This happened exactly on 01/19/04, the check was deposited on his account on the next day with the promise to come back and start the job on the following week, since the following we've been trying to contact this man and all we got most of the time was his voice mail.
Finally got him on the phone, he gave us a excuse and promised he would come in couple days. So it has been one month and no sign of this man.
We really don't know what to do next to get this money back. This is my second step because my first was a report to the police.
