Non-delivery of merchandise, lying about delivery dates, all around scam Niagara Falls, georgia, New York

Ordered 1000 sq feet of Ipe flooring in January. Paid, and was told that the order would be filled in 6-8 weeks. Then another 6 weeks. Then another 3 weeks. Then 2 months. Then a month. Then it had shipped. Then it hadn't shipped. Then it was coming into the US in a container. Then none had arrived. Then it had been finished and was ready to go. Then there was none in stock. Then...

In short, I received excuse after excuse. I was finally told that I would have to cancel my order, or if I changed to a different material it would be filled immediately. I changed it to a wood I was told was in stock and would ship in a week. I said it would ship right then or I would cancel, and they said they would order it from another importer, then it had shipped — including a tracking number from Old Dominion Freight Line. Then the tracking number was wrong, then it was a mistake and that was someone else's invoice, then...

Then "You can cancel, but I guarantee you'll wait longer for money than the flooring."

Then it was another 3 weeks. Then they were out of stock and would order from another supplier. Then it had been finished and was ready to go, but other people were in line ahead of me...

Other people in line ahead of me?"When you changed the type of wood, it went back into the queue as a new order."

Then they had used up their line of credit with the shipper. Then it was that the accountant hadn't released the funds...

... The accountant hadn't released the funds?

Then I look around... The old beaverfloor is gone, it is now a DE corporation called earthfloor, still Neal Martin, still the same phone numbers, but Neal "sold the business to a new company" and...

Nobody can even talk to me except Neal. Their accountant suggested that I look up the NY AG's office and see about the settlement. They now have caller ID and don't answer the phone. They don't return calls. They don't respond to voicemail. They don't return emails.
