I rang the company to see if they were interested in my invention. I spoke to the new products manager by the name of John Carrol, asked if he was interested in the MEK liquid applicators for the market place, he then said yes. He was based in Queensland, I lived in Sydney Austraila. He said that we could meet within 3-4 weeks and would meet at a motel at North Ryde called the Novotel Motel. He had two inventors on this day, I was the second inventor. John was running late he phoned me an hour later to say that the first inventor was taking longer then expected and he would be down soon. He came down an hour and a half later we then went to his room.
I pulled out my 3 working proto types and a confidentiality agreement he read through my agreement and told me that it wasn't drawn up properly. He said if he signs this, he would lose his job, and I said we would not go ahead with the meeting so I put my 3 working proto types back into my brief case and asked Mr John Carrol to use the bathroom.
