Ipoff BEWARE! To this date they still have no labor warranty

Concerning United Window Warehouse, run by Mark Berch, who also ran the AC/Heating biz "United Air Comfort" which lost their license in Texas recently... Let me say BEWARE! As of this date here's the scoop: Mr. Berch has paid the rent on his Arlington location office/warehouse, but only to finish out the replacement window jobs on order. He has convinced his installation manager, Steve Siwiski, and office manager, Jeremy Hall, that he is going to "keep the window business going" but rename it to avoid all the bad complaints associate with all the people they ripped off under the "United" name.

If you are considering buying Traco windows in
Dallas / Fort Worth, avoid it, because they will only be through a Mark Berch entity, who has a history of scams and lawsuits. For example, Mr. Berch and Jeremy Hall told the window sales people to tell customers they had a "Lifetime Labor Warranty". Which they even advertised; however we were never given a copy to show potential customers to prove it. Customers were told they would be issued one upon completion of the job, but the only thing they were issued were excuses.

To this date they still have no labor warranty... Not even 30 days, and since Traco will not cover damage/problems resulting from a faulty installation, you will be stuck buying windows all over again if there is an issue from such.

If you are told United Window Warehouse or any entity selling Traco residential windows has a lifetime labor warranty, ask to see it in writing, signed by Jeremy Hall, Steve Siwiski, or Mark Berch, since anyone else is subcontracted and their signature wouldn't count any way.

My wife and I recenty experienced one of their (last 2 remaining) salespeople in our home, then we had the company checked out via a friend at the Attorney General's Office, which prompted us to post this message.

She and I opted to go with another local company called Texas Tuff Windows and Siding, who actually do provide a lifetime warranty and a great product by Alside, who has been around since the 1940's. I recommend them highly... Ask for Rocky at (817) 283-4600
