We were working with Jon Benson getting all the additions and pricing down. Faxed the purchase agreement with the order worksheet then transfered the $5,000 to hold the home until permitts went through.
Submitted the plans to plan check. Paid the permitt fees (in excess of $7,000) completed the grading and began on the foundation when we ordered the house. Jon said they needed 6 weeks to build the home.
I tried to call every number I had. I even talked to Jon who had been fired (layed off) just 2 weeks before I called.
I called Fleetwood and found out that they hadn't made a home for QW homes for quite some time and in fact they were no longer an authorized agent for them.
Fleetwood was in fact getting out of the manufactured home side.
Money was gone and permitts were now useless unless we could get the same exact home. Of course it was a discontinued model.
