Emser Tile
Terrible Tile Quality and False Advertisement

On Oct. 7, I put an order of Emser tiles (384 sqft of "Eclipse Metal", 126 sqft of "Eclipse Cotton" and 12 sqft of "Lengths Oyster" via a hardwood agent named Coliseum Hardwood to get a whole of $2,699.92. On Oct. 16, I also put one more purchase of 12 sqft of “Eclipse Cotton” for $61.24. The title of the consultant from Coliseum Hardwood is Max. This criticism is with regards to the Emser Eclipse Metal and Eclipse Cotton tiles – whole of 522 sqft ($2663.96). After I put the purchases through Coliseum Hardwood, my company acquired the tiles from Emser Tile (San Leandro, California area) to set up on our ground and surfaces. I randomly exposed several containers and looked over the most effective tiles to verify the tiles were correct and great to set up. After my company mounted roughly 250 sqft of the Eclipse Metal and Eclipse Cotton tiles, I noticed that around 40% of the tiles have main quality problems, mainly high-color tone variations within each tile. Some tiles have over 3 really apparent shade versions. I selected several unopened containers of tiles and examined tile by tile in each container, and discovered near to 1 / 2 of them had exactly the same problem (high-color versions within each tile) plus they were mainly concealed beneath the leading tiles that had no problems. I'm not continuously checking the company installing tile by hardwood. I respected the company’s quality score about the hardwood and am really dissatisfied that I had been provided tiles with much lesser-quality.

The Emser "Eclipse" tiles are marketed to truly have the cheapest variance in-color tone, V1, on the size from 1 to 4, with V4 being the greatest color shade variations within the hardwood. The Eclipse hardwood that's shown in the Emser Tile showrooms (both San Leandro, California and San Jose, California places) also offers no color tone variance, near to being standard in-color. On Oct. 29, I approached Emser Tile San Leandro area and mentioned this hardwood problem having a consultant called Jeremy Brown. I submitted him a photograph of the stained Eclipse Metal hardwood and he mentioned the hardwood isn't designed to have this type of high-color variance. On Nov. 1, after I followed-up with Jeremy, he described that some tiles in the area also had exactly the same quality problem, but didn't return to me on quality. I also approached Max at Coliseum Hardwood to find quality/reimbursement for that Emser tiles, and he's not answered to my request.

I'd bought the tiles on the basis of the reduced shade tone variance as marketed (and shown within the shop), and had obtained poor and stained tiles that will be not appropriate. I also will have to pay for extra work expense to get rid of the tiles and re install new types. I've lost rely upon Emser totally.
