Before you even think about purchasing a lemon tree from Meyer Lemon Tree... Dont do it. I ordered a $145.00 tree that arrived 5 days later in no soil with no water and all the leaves fell off immediately. I sent them photographs and they tried to blame UPS. The filed a claim with UPS and it was not UPS fault. They tried to tell me it was a 3 day shipment. Now shipping out on a Tuesday in a sealed cardboard box with a few bunched up sheets of newspaper as it's only protection is not good enough for a live tree. I contacted them several times on the ship status and it finally arrived Friday evening. Now unless I can't add that is not 3 days shipping.
They wanted to Rip-Off UPS by filing the claim but they should have replaced the tree with a 2 day shipment and everybody would have been satisfied. I would have gladly shipped back the dying tree.
Today I wrote them again after reading a post on this web site from April and was sorry I didn't check it out prior to my purchase. They could care less. Now the tree is 95% dead. I will contact my Attorney because they should not continue to rip decent people off. They even had friends write rebuttals which are bogus.
I have the ful name of the owner and will add it later today. David S LLC.
Not sure of his last name but I am sure he will get his one day for his scamming the public.
