I bought a John Deer Lawn tractor July 25 with a 2 year warranty. It was delivered on Aug 3, upon delivery I asked the delivert guys to start it to make sure it would run they informed me that they weren't allowed only John Deer authorized personal could do that, they left. I tried starting it and it wouldn't start, I called Lowes and their response was read the book, I asked another Lowes employee for a number to John Deer his response "go find it on the internet" I called John Deer for assistance on August 4 On August 10 the tractor was picked up & taken to the shop for repairs it was delivered August 13. It ran for a short time then died. Since then I've put in at least 40 calls into John Deer am still waiting for a response, they have sent 6 repairmen out, Now they want me to pay a $500.00 service call to any of the repairman. I talked to a guy in Las Vegas on August 23 he came to the house and looked at it, he stated" he wasn't sure what the problem was, but he beleived it could be that the gas line was collapsing, didn't fix it, but suggested I take it back to the place I bought it. Well they won't take it back and no one seems to be able to fix it. Theres only 32 hours of use and most of it was from repairs.
