July: Hired John Nichols and his company Visual Blaze to develop two websites for my company. I paid John the first of three installments for the two sites to begin the project.
October: Paid John the second installment.
November: We are on task making progress until November through January when John decided to disappear. I made several attemps to contact John but no avail. It wasn't until I contacted one of his clients to find out if he is still alive. John return my calls immediately after I spoke to one of his big clients. John apologized and said he would focus on my project.
January: John is back on the job and promised to be complete by the end of January.
May: After several months of no progress, John disappears again. Several attempts to contact John were made, but no response.
July: A letter from my attorney to John asking for a refund or complete the project by the end of July or a suit will be filed. John responded by email mid July and said that he cannot complete the work and would like to give me the unfinished work for another designer to complete and will refund the second installment. John does not respond to my reply, which stated I do not want the unfinished work, but do want a full refund.
August: John responds stating that he will give a full refund if I can accept payments. I agreed. John sent over the unfinished website development, which I did not ask for.
Novemeber 2010: I have made several attempts to contact John, because I have not recieved any form of payment. I paid John a total of $3,506.24 and I have not recieved any compensation. He took my money and ran.
