Neighbors moving and storage... Wow what a fraudulent scam they brought onto my family. They quated me at one price told me and my husband it would not go over that price and wanted a 1,000 deposit. I explained we were moving to a town not familiar and if we needed storage we would let them no. He was very proffessional and stated the company was and i was impressed by him so i assumed he was standing for the company. How wrong i was.
The day came to come pick our stuff up just boxes and 2 beds no other furniture was going. My dead parents ashes, important paperwork and my kids photos all the things that can not be bought anywhere that was important to us. Because a rent-a-center didnt service our area rent-a-center let us take our belongings that we were still paying on.
We get to town and i call all 3 storage units and my family of five were at a motel until we could get settled of course. Starting new and over because of our economic crisis. Jobs were not coming in wa so move to nd. Well thats when all the fun started with this company.
We call to find out if they could store it cause of the storage predicument. Needed 30 days. Well they jacked the price over what we were told would not go over we at first were like b.S. But oh well they have our belongings. We cant do anything. First quote was 900.00 mth. Then call later talk to someone else and its 70.00 a mth. We were freeking. Who do we believe. With the movers breaking our blinds from our apt that we had to pay for we were just getting mad and mad then we get told we are liers from the quotes we get. Or that we didnt talk to anyone. So the make a move to new york and because they went through south d. We were told we are getting charged 500.00 for a trip back and forth. I said thats not in our contract loud and rude tell me it does not have to be. What? Another b. S right. I could not believe what i was hearing and how i was being spoken to but again what can i do?
So i call 2 weeks later to make some kind of payment arrangements so i can get them paid and get my things i wanted to pay 2,000 since they said i owed 4 by this time which remember i paid 1,000 already.
I had not heard from the company in 2 mths i tried to call a few times and got no call backs so i notified rent-a-center and said i was not paying on something some movers was going to not give me to get there property back. They were rude with them and ask for faxes of the property.
Neighbors movers never responded after the one phone call so i called and told them they need to give up there property they have stolen goods. They dont care they are not giving rent a center anything and they are not going to notify them or anything.
So i ask for a list why i owe and any charges that i supposevely occurred with them. I get the letter and it says i have 1 day to come up with the amount of money or its going to auction. Well obviously starting out new i do not have 4,000 laying around. So with all the wrongs that are going on in life with kid porn it really freeks me out them selling my kids pictures to someone who could take them and post them all over the internet or identy theft on top with loosing my parents once i am going to loose them again because of this fraudulent company.
Do not be scamed this company has the worst men working they are rude and talk to you like your some trash on the street and tell you what to do when to do because they have your belongings. No help out there for the consumer except notify the public with this web site.
So now i have to worry about my daughters pictures ending up in the wrong hands or all our personal information being giving to anyone because i didnt have 1 day to have what they wanted when they were in breach of contract they are freeking because they do not want rent a center comming after them so they need to get rid of fast. With no care. They have cost me more money and done nothing for me except anguish and turmoil and i ended up in the hospital over stress and had a seizure please do not fall as a victum they will be your worst nightmare.
