Signed contract to finish a basement, everything minus paint and flooring. Took a deposit to start work.
Week 1 - Framed one room, and partial bathroom, took first installment of money.
Week 2 - Framed the rest of the bathroom and part of the second room, also did minor plumbing (we had no hot water, only luke warm until I figured out and fixed his mistake). The electrician was supposed to show up last day of the week. Took the next installment to supposedly pay electrician.
Electrician never showed up, cell phone goes straight to voicemail. I search on the phone number given for the electrician and it goes to ads on KSL.com for Daniel, but now using the name Eli or Dave.

He has since turned off both of his cell phones, or text, has replied to one e-mail.
He has several phone numbers 801-367-2572,801-440-5299,801-661-8589
I have talked with family who state that he will no longer answer their phone calls either, as at least one of them was fined by the state due to his fraudulent business practices. I have searched and he was sued by the Utah Dept. Of Workforce Services in July.
I have e-mailed him several times requesting him to return an item he took. He finally replied after four days that he has mailed the item to me and to leave him alone.
Search Usa Consumer Complaints.com, there are at least two other people that have been ripped off by Daniel.
Search the www.BBB.org website and Big Dawg Ventures Inc. Has an F rating with three complaints.
