We called off a website. We were looking for a customer farm type kitchen table. We provided numerous photos of what we were trying to have made. We drove 1.5 hours to actually meet these people at their home where they worked. (no office location) They were a nice couple living in the middle of the mountains in North Ga. We told them exactly what we were looking for. They told us it would take about 6 weeks to complete. This was the middle of January... I am writing this Sept 17
When we started calling towards the end of March asking where the table was, we kept getting stalled... Then we asked if we could at least have it by Easter. When JUNE came around, we asked for photos... The table was about 50 % completed. It was not going the way we wanted and it had taken forever.in July we got a few more photos and it was not to our liking and at this timeline, we just decided to get our deposit back. Then we found out the fee to "restock". I was not happy but just wanted our money back. Then it started... No return calls, no returned emails... I actually called from various phones to see if I could get Regina to answer. Twice I caught here and she said..."oh, that should have gone out yesterday" That was July-August... We have not received any of our 50% deposit back.
These people will be real nice on the phone... Then they will get your money and stop calling you back... What are you going to go? Drive to the middle of North GA to try and collect? Try to take them to small claims court for $600... What is your time worth?
DO NOT BUY FROM BLACK MOUNTAIN FURNITURE! They have the best deal going... internet, get some money, stop calling and then start laughing...
I am so disappointed in them and myself for believing them... And now I have had a very upset wife for 7 months!
