Rental Guide keeps spamming craigslist with fake ads directing you to their site where you pay 100 bucks to see ads they took off of craigslist! I have this right from the horses mouth, an old friend who worked for them told me they essentially compile all of their listings from craigslist.
They post fake ads and when you contact them you find out A) they aren't real, they're just posted to lure you in and B) you have to pay them 100 for their ads (which are rehashed craigslist ads)
I reported about 50 spam posts by them today alone. It's really hard to find a place when every other post you click on is fake.
I am honestly considering dedicating time every day to reporting off of their spam, i'm so sick of them wasting my time, and everyone else's. You erase, they re-spam. Honestly, do you want to do business with a company this shady? They try and trick you, sell you back what you could be getting for free at an outrageous price, then misuse boards on craigslist which expressly forbid commercial postings. Let's hope they're a fatality in this awful economy.
