I was approved for a home loan in February 09, it wasn't much, so I went on line to find the best deal. Quality Wholesale homes came up so I checked out the website. I was amazed to see the prices. I could actually afford the get a home big enough for me and my children. Well that's what I thought at the time.
I was contacted by a man named Richie Cordova. We started talking about what I needed, what I wanted, and what I didn't want. He kept in good contact with me through the phone and through e-mail. One day he called me and told me that they had a $5000.00 match promotion going on, and it was ending on at the end of the month, or something like that. At the time I wasn't sure if I was ready to make that move, but it was such a good opportunity for me to cut the cost of my home. I had $5000.00 I was going to use to poor my slab. He told me that if I sent QWH that money that they would work my slab into the loan or something like that. So I ended up sending QWH the money. Richie kept in contact. It was going to be a while before I could get my home because I was transferring land that I was going to put the house on so I had to wait on the loan, but I was pre-approved through my bank so it was no big deal. After a while I stopped getting e-mails, and phone calls from Richie. A couple months later I get a phone call from a man saying he was going to take over Richies clients and we went over what Richie and I had discussed. I don't remember the mans name, he told me he was going to send me his information so we could be in contact. He never did. So I tried contacting another lady that worked for QWH to find out who the guy was but I never received an e-mail or a phone call back from her either. I was informed that if QWH could not hold up their end of the deal I would get my money back.
Last month I come in to work to check my e-mails and I have an e-mail regarding QWH shutting their doors. It wasn't even from the company. It was from someone who was getting screwed by QWH also. So now here I am still no home, and no money back.
I hope these people are held responsible for their actions. I hope they have to feel the pain that all of us are going thru. For some this was a once in a lifetime deal. A dream come true and now it has been taken from them.
