Dan Lowe, Owner of Erickson Pools in Frisco Texas has closed his doors and left many of his customers without warranties and has left a long line of unpaid contractors, in some cases he issued worthless checks to people. He has fled to California in an effort to avoid legal complications from his admitted hot checks and his theft of trusted funds from his customers.
In some cases he built entire pools for familes and did not pay the subcontractors that actually performed the work, now these customers are facing liens on their homes and are being called constantly by sub contractors demanding payment when they had already given Dan Lowe all the money for the pools.
Erickson Pools of Frisco is a franchise of a company based out of Florida, The original franchise seller is also a defunct company and only exsist in cyberspace as a web site or clearing house for leads for sales. Which has left a lot of people with no where to go or to complain to about payments or warranty issues.
Dan Lowe is a con artist and a professional poker player who may have taken his customers funds to pay people to build their and lost it on online poker.
He is a fast talker and will try to convince you that it was a poor economy that caused Ericson Pools to implode, but it was Dan Lowe and his missapropriation of funds and theft of trust funds that caused him to close the doors, he is simply put a criminal of the lowest type. He claims he will be back in Texas in February to continue his pool building escapades, beware of him, he does not possess adequate knowledge of soil conditions in Texas and will build a pool in expansive soil conditions without taking the correct engeneering protocols to prevent damage to the pools and your homes. I know as I speak from first hand knowledge. Beware of erickson pools and dan lowe!!!
