Marc And Arlene Reeves Owners Rip off lawn care, liars, did not do work properly. Sent 14 yr old son to do work

We were refered by our tenant who used Mr. Reeves to maintain the lawn at our rental house. About 2 week ago I requested Mr. Reeves to come out and give an estimate on cleaning up the backyard and trimming the bushes of my elderly mother's house. Mr. Reeves came and I spoke with him and he gave an a price of $120.00 for the backyard and $40.00 for the front yard trimming of the bushes. Which we agreed on.

On August 3 I received a phone call from Mrs. Reeves and she said that they were on the way to my mother's house to do the yard. I was out of town at the time and was confident that the work would be done satisfactory. What I later learned is that Mrs. Reeves and her 14 yr old son came and did the work. The front was done pretty decent, but the back yard, which was the main thing I wanted taken care of of, still looks just as bad. All they did was use a blower and blow some of the pine straw to the side of the yard and several piles in the middle. Absolutely nothing was done at what was requested for the back. The crazy wife was wanting more money and what makes me ever more mad is that my Mom paid this woman 180.00 cash and was given no receipt.

Now in an attempt to contact this woman - forget the weak minded husband - Mr. Reeves he hasn't responded to my phone requests. This woman has acted very immature, yelling at me on the phone and hanging up on me several times. The last phone call a few minutes ago - she said she mailed a receipt - most likely today - and that her husband gave a written bid. Not only is she a bad business woman, but a liar as well. To top it off she has "Have a blessed day" on her voicemail, that is all it says when you call it. What a Christian I tell ya, LOL

Now she has blocked all my phone calls. All we wanted done was the back yard done properly, which was to rake up all the pine straw and pine cones and make the back yard look decent. Far from what my mother got.

Anyway, I am going to make some signs and post around town advertising their bad business and what a rip off they are. That should get their attention.
