My husband and I called Able Plumbing out and were told we had a collapsed sewer line. It would cost 2,600.00 to fix. We had to take out a loan to cover this. The plumbing company had then came back and said the line wasnt collapsed, it was another problem and it would only be about 1,000.00 to fix. The loan co. Had already made the check out to the plumbing co.in the amount of 2,600.00 so the company and my husband drew up a contract stating that Able Plumbing would take the check and return the differnece to us. This contract was signed by my husband and Dan Reed the owner of the plumbing co. We waited and never saw our money. Apon calling the company they said they were filling for bankruptcy and couldnt pay us. And also about the time we found that our problem was never fixed at all.
They had just came out and dug holes in our yard. We at that time sued this company and won the sute, but since they filled bankruptcy, we still can not get our money back. We also found out thru the courts this compnay files for bancruptcy over and ocer again after the period of the law allows. And reopens the business again still under the name Abel Plumbing, but a differnt owner evertime. We are now out this $2,600.00. That we still have to pay back to the loan company and still have a plumbing problem to boot. If you are a Oklahoma City metro area resident please never use this company.
