We thought we were buying a John Deere tractor, after we agreed to buy it we were sent three e-mails from what we thought was e-bay. They were a congratulation e-mail, a e-mail instructing us how to pay for the item and a reciept. We were instructed to send a money gram to a e-bay financing department agent. This e-mail page was very convincing since it had links to e-bays home page were you could ckeck out the person who was selling the item. Once we sent the money gram we got a receipt e-mail saying that trucking will be arranged in the next 12- 24 hours.By the time the 24 hours was up it was to late somebody in a tottally different part of the country picked up the money and there was no further contact. The amount of the money gram was $4,850.00
