I bought lots of radius deck boards and other treated lumber from morrison lumber in Houma to build and long walk way that leads to a large arbor with a deck bottum.
The first spring after I finished my project. The carpenter bees started their destruction. Holes were being drilled all over this so called treated wood.
I notified the lumber yard by email and the man seem very interested in my problem and siad he will come by my home. A couple weeks later he wrote me again and apologized at the delay and is still planning on coming to my home.
Well its been a couple years now. And today with the war I just had with carpenter bees outside destroying my hard work prompted me to write the report.
The wood I had bought was very light, I bought deck wood from other people before and it heavy and moist. Their wood was very very dry and light as a feather. Very weak wood. Gives and bends very eay. It was not pressure treated at at it seemed. I told all this to morrison in my first email.
