Lawn King is, in my opinion, the most incompetent and deceitful company on the face of the Earth.
A Lawn King rep came to my door soliciting business. I told him I had personally taken care of my lawn for 5 years, never had a problem, and did not need to hire anyone. He persisted in his sales talk, promising free initial services if I signed up. With free initial services, what did I have to lose?
Lawn King never performed their promised free services. Moreover, they were incredibly incompetent. Within months, my lawn was in such bad shape that I was getting letters from my homeowners association demanding I repair my lawn or face legal action.
When I called Lawn King to politely complain about ever-expanding weeds and chinch bug damage, they were condescending and rude. They refused to come out and fix, or even look at, the rapidly expanding lawn damage. When I thereafter refused to pay my bill, they sent my account to a collections agency.
Do yourself a favor and avoid these scumbags like the plague.
